Our Commitment to You

We're transparent about our process and what we're doing. See our page about how we vet therapists and the criteria we use. It's also why we make the referral list publicly available. We're giving you the information and our suggested guidance so you can make your own informed decisions.

We're also transparent about who we work with. Not every organization is for everyone, and you can use your judgment to decide what's best for you. We work with any organization that can help advance our mission in this space.

We like to say we have no agenda, but we know that isn't entirely accurate. Nobody has no agenda. What we mean is that our agenda is exactly what's stated in our mission: to improve mental health and wellbeing. We have no frum or religious agenda. We don't have an LGBTQ+ or "gay agenda." And we try our best to make sure the providers on our list don't have one either.

We do take certain positions, like that conversion therapy does not work and is harmful, a position held by every major mental health organization. We do not take any position on the right or wrong way anyone should live their life.

We're all aware that this can be a fraught space. Fortunately for us, our expertise is in mental health, not in some of the areas that can be more heated. We are a mental health organization, not a communal policy organization. Between our clinical advisors and the many others we consult with, we have tens of thousands of hours of clinical experience, and we'll happily provide mental health resources and education.

While different people in the organization have personal positions, as an organization we do not take a position on communal policies or religious issues because those fall outside our mission and expertise.
